After the followers of Bahgtru crashed The Proving Ground in Dhurdezo and kidnapped Gurthak, the chieftain of Dhurdezo, our heroes journeyed a few hours north to an abandoned temple rumored to be the home base of the Bahgtru believers. However, Sankara and Chip left towards the northwest to scout the way ahead to the Deep Roads entrance since time is of the essence with The Battle of Mirkarkden looming on the sunrise of tomorrow.
Gallogk, Bjorn, Lucky and Galatia found the followers in their abandoned temple and... long story short... aggroed all of the bad guys to the top floor and a currently coming up with creative ways to solve this new issue. Gallogk continues his one-on-one duel with Hegrack-- leader of the followers of Bahgtru. Gurthak has been under the influence of the priests' spell and has been suspended in the air above a glowing red crystal. At the close of last session, he began to glow brighter and awake from unconsciousness to scream.
Sankara, while flying towards the Deep Roads, has an uneasy feeling about splitting the party as an emerald owl feather twirls in the air in his line of sight before disappearing through the clouds towards the ground below. He and Chip double back and plan on meeting up with their friends at the temple.
The battle with Hegrack and his followers was brutal. Our heroes fought valiantly and were ultimately victorious. Tyr revealed himself to Gallogk to offer his thanks for sanctifying the abandoned temple and cleansing the land of these followers. He awarded the party a long rest. Gallogk requested that food and supplied be granted to the people of Bur Boldor. Tyr obliges. The session ended with the party being teleported in a wave of light to the deep roads' entrance after Gurthak is resurrected.
